A meeting will take place in Gallaghers Hotel, Letterkenny on Tuesday (25 October) evening to form a committee to put in place a plan to have Letterkenny designated as a Gaeltacht Service Town.
Letterkenny has been named as one of the towns that could apply to achieve recognition as a Gaeltacht Service Town under the Gaeltacht Act 2012.
The meeting will take place at 7.30pm in the Gweedore Suite in Gallaghers Hotel and as well as the meeting to form the committee, there will also be chance for people to meet, chat and socialise with music and super being served.
It is hoped that those interested in becoming part of the committee to put in place a language plan for Letterkenny will come along. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
